Serving Veterans and their families in need

About us

The Kaufman Fund was founded in 1990 by Wayne Kaufman in memory of his brother Ralph Kaufman. Both Wayne and Ralph served in the military and believed in giving back to their communities. Our mission is The Kaufman Fund Helping Veterans with life’s basic necessities through food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and more. We collaborate to assist Veterans in need through our own programs and other service organizations. Our programs include mental health, dental, legal, and chiropractic referrals along with Food for Vets, Trees for Vets, Tax Preparation for Vets, Winter Warm-up, and Artist First for Veterans. We work with therapists, counselors, dentists, attorneys, and chiropractors to provide free to low-cost assistance to Veterans in need. We can provide these resources to the Veterans through fundraising and generous donors. Our fundraising events are an annual golf tournament in the summer and a casino night in the fall.
