On his way home from a shift at Alabama’s Mobile Regional Airport (MOB), TSA Supervisory Officer Mize spotted a house fire and took immediate action. If you opt-out, you will not lose your place in line and there will be no issue and no delay. ✅ Privacy Assured: Rest easy knowing TSA prioritizes privacy with secure handling of facial images. Last week, Administrator Pekoske traveled to Peru, where he gathered with our international counterparts, engaged with executives from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) & met with members of Peru’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation. TSA collaborates with international partners to ensure consistent security standards worldwide. NEWS: TSA stopped 3,269 firearms at airport security checkpoints nationwide during the first half of 2024. “During a period of record-breaking travel volumes, our officers are working hard to keep our transportation systems secure and the traveling public safe, and any time they detect a firearm, there is a real safety concern for frontline employees and travelers,” said TSA Administrator David Pekoske. “If you carry a firearm, you are required to place it unloaded and locked in a hard-sided case in your checked bag and declare it to the airline when checking in at the airline ticket counter.
