Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds. Duties: • Responsible for the design and construction phases of the project, including the final design, construction, and required document submissions. • Perform and check engineering analyses and calculations; specify materials, equipment, and systems; and solve technical problems of advanced complexity. • Develop and review specifications and design criteria of new facilities and modifications to existing facilities. • Responsible for decisions affecting the design or alteration of the design. • Evaluate systems’ safety, reliability, and performance. • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new systems and processes. • Other duties as assigned. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor’s resource shall be responsible for assisting the CPCCo Environmental Protection Manager with evaluating and managing information associated with the Carbon Footprint Reduction Initiative (CFRI), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Sustainability Programs as listed below.
