Are you a homebuilder or developer of new multifamily and single-family homes? Take advantage of the improved Sec. 45L tax credit for new energy-efficient homes thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act. The #IRA increases the tax credit to up to $2,500 per single-family house or per multifamily dwelling unit for homes that meet ENERGY STAR certification and up to $5,000 per single-family house or multifamily dwelling unit for homes achieving the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) certification. USGBC co-authored this resource with the Building Innovation Hub and the Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) to help you understand how to earn the 45L credit. We walk through available incentives, eligibility criteria, and other requirements, such as prevailing wage applicability and program versions. https://bit.ly/4cm7qa0
