As #PrideMonth continues, we asked some members of our VOICES (Vaco Orientation and Identity Community Equity Squad) employee resource group if they wanted to reflect on what acceptance looks and feels like to them in the workplace. This starts with a leadership model that prioritizes empathy and belonging as a core pillar of success. In my opinion, in the absence of holistic acceptance, respect and accountability are my markers of a successful inclusive environment.
