We’re spotlighting members of our Fall 2024 class! Meet Madison Ebstein. After graduating college, she spent a year working at a therapeutic preschool. “I worked closely with multiple pediatric occupational therapists (OTs) and admired how the OTs at the preschool planned engaging activities to help their clients develop skills to be successful and independent in their everyday lives. At the same time, I loved that an emphasis was placed on empowering the students to be confident and have fun – this balance made me fall in love with the idea of becoming an OT!” says Madison. Welcome! #WashUmed #WashUOT #oteducation

We’re spotlighting members of our Fall 2024 class! Meet Mitchell Manar. Several years ago, he read an essay on ableism in acting schools: “That opened my eyes to how spaces I thought of as inclusive and welcoming also held many barriers that prevented people with disabilities from participating. I came to occupational therapy to work with people and communities to help remove those barriers,” says Mitchell. Welcome! #WashUmed #WashUOT #oteducation
