WFUV, the listener supported, public media service from Fordham University, champions music discovery and fosters appreciation of our diverse musical heritage. To date, our content staff has sifted through thousands of original entries to arrive at nearly eight hundred selected artists. In March 2023 @ 2,000 members of the WFUV community descended upon the Queens Botanical Garden in Flushing to listen to music and mingle with each other and FUV DJs. The price of entry was food donation(s) benefiting the Astoria Food Pantry. To say the turnout and kindness exceeded every expectation, would be an understatement.
