Winnow is a breakthrough AI solution that empowers medical leaders to drive physician hiring. We have combined artificial intelligence with business intelligence to supplement traditional physician recruiting. In the process, we've cracked the code to fuel better, faster physician hires. Winnow's AI targets predictive best fits for each job vacancy, then maps the connections to your existing staff. We make it easy for physicians to vet, select, and refer the leads that are perfect for your company alone. The Winnow journey began from a problem we heard from every corner of healthcare: traditional physician recruiting is broken. So we set out to develop a new approach to hiring physicians, working closely with healthcare leaders to identify the day to day challenges with recruiting. With our best data scientists iterating in real time, we discovered that a key opportunity was hidden in plain sight: the underutilized and typically ad hoc channel of physician referrals. Building successful physician teams should be a team sport. Physicians can play a big role in driving the right hires, and physician recruiters deserve all the help they can get. Our novel approach was to put physicians into the driver's seat of referrals and vetting. Not just as an afterthought, but as a whole separate operation powered by AI, creating hot inbound leads for recruiters. Winnow is built around an AI model that identifies the best predictive matches for each open role, then surfaces relationships with existing physicians. Winnow unlocks a new door to physician hiring by arming medical leaders with the predictive insights and untapped connections they need to drive candidate options, referrals, and perfectly aligned teams. Turns out that we didn't need to recreate the wheel, we just needed to pump it full of air. Winnow was launched in 2021 by SwitchPoint Ventures, an award-winning venture studio that builds AI-driven business solutions for healthcare.
