As we celebrate #Pride month at Workrise, the importance of inclusivity and belongingness - the ability to bring your full self to work - is always at the front of our minds. It takes a village to create this culture, and it's something we work on every day. We are grateful for Risers like Daniel Dreher, who has taken a minute to reflect on what makes Workrise a place of belonging for him, as well as what fuels his commitment to supporting others. “At Workrise, I can be my authentic self, making my work experience truly fulfilling. Being in an environment that celebrates individuality transforms the daily grind into something more meaningful. I am proud to lead our Pride ERG and firmly believe in the impact of our outreach efforts and remain driven by the opportunity to support those in need.” 🌈 Happy Pride month to all who celebrate. #togetherwerise

“The support at Workrise inspires me to be proud of who I am, where I’m from, and what makes me…me.” We are so fortunate to have people like Mon Cerda bring their full selves to work week in and week out. Thank you to Monica and everyone in the R.I.S.E. (Respect. Inclusion. Support. Empowerment.) ERG for all the incredible work you do to make Workrise not just inclusive but an empowering place to work. In Monica’s words, “Workrise has enabled me to take ownership, collaborate, and take on new challenges. May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and I’m proud to be part of R.I.S.E. to celebrate my Cambodian heritage and embrace my culture.” #togetherwerise

If you've been watching the news, it's easy to feel like the world is more volatile and chaotic than ever. From conflicts to supply chain disruptions and the global economy, 2024 has given us anything but smooth sailing. But all is not lost. Over the past couple of months, Joshua Trott has spent some time thinking about the world we find ourselves in. In a new opinion piece published by RealClearEnergy, Josh details why times like these call for something that is incredibly hard to come by. That thing is leadership, and the thread that ties everything together is energy. Our next great responsibility is clear. The question is, do we have the political will to shoulder it? https://hubs.ly/Q02tRkmd0 #energy #energypolitics #energystability

In his third week on the job, our new CEO spent some time in the field. Greenlake Energy was kind enough to host Mick Hollison - along with board chair Xuan Yong and a number of other top leaders - for a tour of a selection of their well sites in West Texas. As Mick puts it: “There’s nothing quite like seeing the scale and complexity of energy operations first hand. The planning, teamwork, execution, technology, and sheer horsepower brought to bear in drilling operations is next level.” Huge thank you to Greenlake for the hospitality out in Midland. Wishing you all a strong wrap to Q1 and an even stronger start to Q2. #oilandgas #drillingoperations

Directors like Lizz don’t come along every day. So when you are fortunate enough to have leaders like this, it’s meaningful to pause and reflect on their contribution. As Lizz puts it: “At Workrise, I feel immensely supported by the organization's commitment to collaboration and growth. This support has empowered me to build valuable partnerships and contribute meaningfully to our mission. The trust they’ve given me to grow our research team underscores the importance of diverse leadership and teamwork.” It’s Women’s History Month, which is a cause worth celebrating. At the same time, we don’t need an excuse to recognize the women who make Workrise what it is today. Lizz’s achievements inspire us all to reach for new heights and embrace new opportunities that come our way. #togetherwerise

It's easy to look at the world and see only the uncertainty. From Russia to the Middle East, China to the Panama Canal - even inconsistent policy right here in the US - it's not getting any easier to navigate what are inherently choppy waters. But there is juice to squeeze in 2024. In his latest piece, Oil & Gas industry veteran Adam Hirschfeld shares 3 ways todays operators can work smarter, and improve their bottom line. The message is clear: there are things that are within your control that can improve your cost basis. The question becomes, are you willing to put in the elbow grease to get the returns? https://hubs.ly/Q02qN3NM0 #energy #oilandgas #supplychain #energysupplychain

Today we take the first steps into the next chapter for Workrise. We are thrilled to welcome Mick Hollison as our next CEO, and in the same breath, celebrate the incredible vision, growth, and accomplishments that were put on the board under the leadership of our co-founders Mike Witte, and Xuan Yong before him. Mick has put pen to paper to share both his reflections on the road to today, and to start to paint a picture of his vision for the future. This future starts today. Believe us when we say there is so much to look forward to… https://hubs.ly/Q02nBMqC0
