#Cybersécurité : faut-il craindre de nouvelles attaques avec les chatbots #IA ? 🤖 Les chatbots IA rentrent dans notre quotidien, mais vont-ils également rentrer dans celui des hackers ? S’il semble que ces derniers ne vont pas utiliser #ChatGPT ou Gemini pour créer de nouveaux types d’attaques, ils pourraient cependant s’en servir pour rendre leurs attaques quotidiennes plus productives. Ainsi, les hackers pourront avoir recours à un chatbot afin de traduire leurs courriels d’hameçonnage dans la langue souhaitée ou de corriger leurs orthographes/syntaxes/grammaires. Ils pourront aussi demander à un outil comme ChatGPT de créer différents messages de #phishing afin d’introduire de la variété dans leurs attaques. Les hackers pourraient aller plus loin en utilisant le chatbot IA afin de générer de faux profils sur les réseaux sociaux (et les publications associées). 𝗟𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘀 ? ➡️ Automatiser les approches d’ingénierie sociale qui, aujourd’hui, exigent beaucoup de temps passé à créer des profils crédibles et des messages pertinents. – #Cybersecurity: should we fear new attacks with #AI chatbots? 🤖 AI chatbots are becoming part of our daily lives, but will they also become part of hackers' daily lives? While it seems that hackers won't be using #ChatGPT or Gemini to create new types of attack, they could be using them to make their day-to-day attacks more productive. For example, hackers could use a chatbot to translate their phishing e-mails into the desired language, or correct their spelling/syntax/grammar. They could also ask a tool like ChatGPT to create different #phishing messages to introduce variety into their attacks. Hackers could go a step further by using the AI chatbot to generate fake profiles on social networks (and associated publications). In 2023, organisations in the APAC region experienced 1963 #cyberattacks per week on average. I had an incredible interview with Joubin Mirzadegan, host of the Kleiner Perkins Grit Podcast, where I had a candid conversation about what it takes to create, build, and scale world-class organizations, like Zscaler.    Great ideas are a dime a dozen, but it takes a special kind of conviction and intestinal fortitude to transform those ideas into reality. I’m very thankful to my family who taught me the importance of hard work, determination and dedication. In an interesting way, it was advantageous for my career that my family had no money. By virtue of that, I had no attachment to money; there was no feeling of “I must buy this” and that mentality hasn’t changed. With no attachment to financial wealth, I felt unencumbered to take risks.
