Me again. I am taking a quick minute to revisit impact. I have to say, I've really enjoyed "getting back into the groove". I am still missing morning meditation sometimes, but trying hard to maintain some focus.
Since the last post I've (re) discovered a few things:
1. Annual reports are fun! I took the time to write this year's L&D Impact report. In summary, (1) we exceeded our goals, (2) we've provided role-based training for 500+ Ellucian employees, (3) those employees demonstrated higher engagement than expected, and most importantly, (4) MY TEAM ROCKS!!
2. People are awesome! Several people sent short messages explaining how much they learned from, liked, or appreciated one of the multiple engagements they attended. While that wasn't/isn't the point of the last post--I'll take the acknowledgment (and pass it on) any time.
3. Partnering with other orgs is a great way to drive impact. See the below post describing the Student Accelerator Program. Its certainly one of my favorite sessions and its for students.
I've enjoyed and appreciated taking the time to evaluate. I look forward to trying to maintain the habit. I welcome an accountability buddy if anyone's interested.

A big thank you to our partners at Ellucian for hosting their Career Accelerator Workshop, “Landing the Job,” for over 100 of our alumni last month! 🎉 The event covered essential topics like personal branding, resume writing, and interview preparation. With the help of over 20 dedicated Ellucian volunteer mentors, our alumni engaged in small breakout sessions, discovering their “why” and honing their answers to common interview questions using the STAR method.
We appreciate you, Ellucian 🙏🏽
