Plastics has numbers attributed to them, these numbers are the plastic resin codes, which quickly shows which type of plastic a product is. The number ranges from 1 to 7.
The most commonly recycled plastics are:
1- Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET): Usually from water bottles.
2- High Density Polyethylene (HDPE): Usually from milk Cartoons and shampoo bottles.
5: Polypropylene (PP): Automotive parts and furniture.

Voided all-PE laminates: Excellent puncture resistance, perfect for large format packaging such as pet food and garden compost.
How we made all-PE pouches: Using a Hosokawa Alpine Aktiengesellschaft blown film and MDO line we produced super-tough voided MDO mid-web films. These films were then converted into printed triplex laminates with MDO PE print webs and PE sealant webs with help from COMEXI GROUP. Finally, the laminates were converted into recycle ready all-PE pouches on an HFFS pouch line from MESPACK.
Voided mid-web films are low density, have excellent puncture resistance & toughness, and can enable downgauging of the entire laminate structure to reduce the environmental footprint of the final package.
