☀️⚡We are excited to share that the Bechtel Corporation-built Cutlass Solar 2 facility in Fort Bend, Texas is now generating energy at full capacity—a milestone we achieved ahead of schedule. Congrats, team!👏 Together with our customer Sabanci Holding, we are sending enough clean, renewable energy to the grid to power 40,000 Texas homes—saving an estimated 600,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year.🤝 Scott Austin, #Bechtel’s General Manager of Renewables and Clean Power, shares: "We're delighted to get Cutlass Solar 2 to maximum capacity to provide more renewable power for Texans, support America's energy transition, and help achieve the Lone Star State's goal to become the nation's largest producer of solar power." Next up: we'll begin construction on Sabanci Holding's new Oriana Solar facility in Victoria County, TX, which is expected to power more than 34,000 homes with clean energy. Combined, these three facilities—Oriana Solar, Cutlass Solar 2, and Cutlass Solar 1, which our team delivered last year—are capable of powering 100,000 homes across Texas with renewable, solar-powered energy.
