Nursing failures can be tough, but remember they're opportunities for growth. Reflect on what went wrong, learn from it, and focus on your strengths. Seek support from colleagues, mentors, or friends, and remember why you chose nursing in the first place. Stay positive by setting small achievable goals and celebrating your successes along the way

Staff-Led Loving Workflows in Care Delivery 💙 ♦ A Loving Organization - Culture Change ♦ Train the Trainer Facilitator Certification Program for Leaders & Managers ♦ 20 Years Consulting, Training, Speaking in Healthcare
A Loving Organization Consortium, Apurv Gupta, MD, MPH, Peter Pronovost MD, PhD, FCCM -- Wow! This video is so powerful! So many are being pulled to #ALovingOrganization and #LovingWorkflows with our launch of A Loving Organization Consortium this month. It is the love in each of us being attractive to itself, yes? Still, like everything else in life, the key is implementation and sustainability. How do we implement loving transformation in healthcare cultures and workflows and sustain it? This video answers that question. Yes, it's an hour video. Who has time? But this will be powerful use of your time in understanding implementing systemic love in healthcare as the only answer to its many, even existential, woes. If you only want to listen to the brilliant Peter Pronovost MD, PhD, FCCM, Chief Quality and Clinical Transformation Officer and the equally amazing Jennifer Gonzalez, Nursing Excellence Advisor, who have successfully implemented systemic love in University Hospitals, start the video at 9:45 and go though the Q&A. It's inspiring!--(in spirit). I believe we can even accelerate implementation of transformation based in love, such as the amazing work of Dr. Pronovost and his team at UH. This is with the introduction of Nobel Prize-winning systems science, the Law of Dissipative Structures as the accelerant. Simple, fast, aligned with how the universe and nature transform--stress/fear/separation to Love/Connection/Synergy. 💙 💙 #LovingSystemsThinking #3DHealthcare
Join us live for this morning’s General Session, “United Solutions: Shaping Tomorrow’s Workforce,” featuring University Hospitals' Peter Pronovost MD, PhD, FCCM, Chief Quality and Clinical Transformation Officer, and Jennifer Gonzalez, Nursing Excellence Advisor, with a special presentation of one of the Premier Trailblazer Awards.

As a nurse, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a cornerstone in my daily practice of care. Signed 75 years ago, this document establishes a set of basic rights that should be universally protected, including the right to health and well-being. In my profession, this translates to treating each patient with dignity, respect, and compassion, regardless of their background, beliefs, or socioeconomic status. The Declaration also emphasizes the importance of equal access to healthcare, a principle that guides my commitment to providing the best possible care to all patients. This means not only treating illnesses and injuries but also promoting health and preventing disease, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy life. Currently, we face significant challenges in upholding and advancing these fundamental human rights. Issues such as health inequalities, humanitarian crises, global pandemics, and limited resources have put immense pressure on healthcare systems worldwide. As a nurse, I witness the impact of these challenges on the front lines, where the struggle to maintain care standards and equity is constant. Despite these obstacles, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights continues to be a moral compass for my practice. It reminds me of the responsibility I hold not just in caring for my patients but also in advocating for their rights and dignity in all situations. As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of this historic document, it's crucial to reflect on how far we have come and the work that still needs to be done to ensure these rights are a reality for everyone.

THIS WEEK is our 2nd Anniversary.. and we're #movingforward to deepen our work to empower residents, staff and communities. We will continue to be: 🌟 Focusing on the people in nursing homes. We have four projects underway being pilot tested in order for best practices to be promote nationally. These projects specifically empower residents to have control over their personal and community life, and #CNAs to grow in their career and nursing home roles. 👉 We'll be releasing a microsite later this week with "how to" guides. 🌟 Strengthening our voice for consensus of solutions. We're continuing to bring together diverse voices to identify solutions (big and small) we can all agree on. 👉 This week we'll have three consensus-backed federal policy recommendations to move forward with necessary shifts. 🌟 Seeking partners as we can't do it alone. 👉 We need help funding and scaling other promising projects to: incentivize household models, ensure surveyors have training in person-centered care, and make person-centered care planning a part of nursing home electronic health records. Can you introduce us? WANT TO LEARN MORE? 👉 We've got a great group assembled THIS Wednesday, June 26 (4-5pm ET) to learn more of what's ahead.
