What does it mean to give the next generation a world-class education? I've been contemplating ideas around education a lot recently, as my daughter is entering the next phase of her schooling career. To find our children a world-class institution doesn't mean we all need to send our kids to the likes of Stanford or Harvard. We simply need to find them an education that is a good suit for them and that will take them down the right path. My exploration of schools in the US revealed that there are three things that are key to giving the next generation a world-class education: 💡A curious student. 🏫An environment that is conducive to discourse and discovery. 🧑🏫A willing educator. Another point to consider is that some of the greatest minds in the world skipped college and went straight to innovating - Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Richard Branson all come to mind. Exploring the historic Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford! (You guys might recognise it from Harry Potter.) In our digital age, where information is at our fingertips, places like this remind me of the timeless value of reading, learning, and human curiosity. It's not just about accessing information but immersing ourselves in it, contemplating, and allowing it to shape our worldview. In racing, continuous learning and adaptation were vital for me to stay ahead. And now, in life and business, I think it's essential to nurture our intellect and stay curious. Visiting a place like this highlighted the fact that knowledge has always been a treasured resource, and it's up to us to leverage it. You know when you think you're "giving" or "doing" something, but it equally inspires and nurtures you? Fills you up? This is exactly how it feels to teach at Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences⚡️ Exploring "Responsible Leadership" over the past weeks with these bright minds and open hearts was an absolute joy. Every session was a deep dive into the qualities and essences I believe are most essential for a new paradigm of leading, co-creating, and living. ↳ How do we create a future where welfare economics become the norm? ↳ How do we build businesses based on the idea of conscious capitalism? ↳ What needs to “die” inside of us to make that shift possible? ↳ How do we foster a culture where it’s safe to speak one’s own needs? ↳ How do we live in alignment with our values? And so much more… I'm continuously inspired by the passion and insights of my students and the vital breeding ground Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences provides. It's definitely not just teaching; it's a shared journey of growth and discovery. Today, a student's gesture of bringing me flowers and a thank-you card deeply moved me, reminding me of the powerful role gratitude plays in education. This experience not only touched me but also reinforced my belief in empathy as a cornerstone of effective teaching. There is a wide gap between governments and peoples around the world. Most of countries' governments with media & press support #israel and Make coverage for it is crimes and support them with military aids on contrary peoples around the world support #palestinian and use demonstrations and social media to clarifies this. Actions speak louder than words

A school’s mission statement can give you clues about its core values. Consider my alma mater Carnegie Mellon’s: To create a transformative educational experience for students focused on deep disciplinary knowledge; problem solving; leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; and personal health and well-being. To cultivate a transformative university community committed to (a) attracting and retaining diverse, world-class talent; (b) creating a collaborative environment open to the free exchange of ideas, where research, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship can flourish; and (c) ensuring individuals can achieve their full potential. To impact society in a transformative way — regionally, nationally, and globally — by engaging with partners outside the traditional borders of the university campus. Admissions officers at highly selective institutions can choose among many talented applicants and will look for those who demonstrate a good fit for the institution. Be sure to examine a school’s mission statement to learn what it values, see if you share these values, and, if so, demonstrate your fit.
