#ThrowbackThursday: Remembering the Euromed Migration V Training for Young Migration Professionals! 📅 Two years ago today, the first Euromed Migration Training for Young #MigrationProfessionals (Award in Migration Governance for Young Professionals) kicked off in Malta 🇲🇹 in collaboration with the Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean. 🌍 With four trainings in total, five expert trainers, and young professionals from nine countries across the southern Mediterranean, this programme was a milestone event creating a network of future young migration professionals within the Mediterranean. 🎓 Fully accredited by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority, these specialised trainings provided high-standard learning modules designed to equip migration policy-makers of the future with the key knowledge and skills they need. A heartfelt thanks to our trainers Dr. Giovanni Esposito, Dr. Andrea Terlizzi, Dr. Irene Cogliati Dezza, Ph.D, Ms. Veronika Bilger, and Dr. James Dennison for contributing to the lasting legacy of this training, the ICMPD Mediterranean and Euromed Migration team, as well as the alumni young professionals who made it a success. 🔵 #Professionalisation drives #MigrationCapacityPartnerships 🔵 #TogetherWeDeliver #MCPinAction

Every year, we assemble a consortium of half a dozen Centers of Vocational Excellence and tender materials (this is the fourth year already). 🧐 What is the Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) and why we support applicants at; 🤝 consortium building, ⚙️ developing project objectives, 📖 and preparing tender materials? Because these institutions are trying to revolutionize workforce training in the European Union! 🔎 The main goal of CoVE is to provide high quality workforce training. They work closely with CoVEs and companies operating in other countries in order to offer new technologies or sustainable solutions. 🖥️ The CoVE plays an extremely important role in large-scale EU plans, such as the green transition and wider use of digital technology. These centres enable young people and adults to keep up with the latest developments in the world of work, especially when workplaces go through technological or environmental changes.
