Did you know that the Swindon and Wiltshire Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is the first point of contact if you've been a victim of rape and sexual assault in Wiltshire?   If you’ve been raped or sexually assaulted, no matter how long ago, you can contact the SARC directly with or without police involvement. It’s a safe place where you’ll find confidential practical and emotional support from our team of specialist staff. In this video SARC Team leader Tanya tells us about how they support people, the safe spaces that they welcome people to and how you can contact them.   Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Wilkinson said: “Supporting victims in the time when they are most vulnerable and need help is a core priority for my office and is a clear priority contained within my police and crime plan. We know we cannot eradicate crime completely so we must ensure the service we are funding is delivering for victims when they need it most".
