Working hard does not have to equal working miserably 😔 We often assume that the more miserable someone is in their job, the harder they're working People can't possibly be working hard while enjoying their surroundings I've lost count of the number of times that someone has said to me that I "can't really be working" or "it's alright for some" or "some of us are working hard over here" when I talk about how I work while running Flexa 👇 🛩️ I travel and work ❤️ I visit my family and work 🏃 I exercise in the middle of the working day 🍺 I work from the pub 🐶 I pat my dog and work 🌳 I work from outside 🏊 I work on the beach But the point is, I am still working, but I am just trying to enjoy myself as much as possible while working exceptionally hard building a business The future of work is about improving quality of life while improving performance People have been shown to work harder and be more engaged when they are happy, so why not embrace the freedom that a lucky selection of us have access to? Here's me, working at 9pm with room service, after flying to Barcelona for a speaking event at 8am and still fitting in a quick gym session, a dip in the pool, and an afternoon working in the sun ☀️ Hater's gonna hate ✌️ #FlexibleWorking #WorkFromAnywhere #Productivity

Honestly, why is being comfortable whilst working so frowned upon? I guess misery loves company! (Pun intended)

In fact, you can do very little and still be miserable at work. One doesn't exclude the other

Exercise in the middle of the day is the best perk of being flexible. I always feel more energised and mentally ready to get back into work 🏃🏾♀️

The better we feel, the better work we will produce. It's that simple. If working from the park / the beach / a rooftop supports that ... then head to the park / the beach / a rooftop!

absolutely agree with you, and share the same philosophy in our company 🧡

It's never about working hard. It's always about working effectively. Just crunching hours doesn't bring results. If your energy is high, you can deliver greater results at the speed of light... :)

I myself had to redefine work (and success) with the start of my own business. Admittedly, sometimes the deep productivity & hustle conditioning sneaks back in, but work doesn't look one way!
