What could be better than making the everyday things around you beautiful and visually intriguing for a living? #creativeprocess As a Creative director I generally develop and oversee projects at the earliest stages. The cast vision, form concepts and design language . These are the big-picture I visualise at beginning . The need is that I should close the eyes and see the finished product, even though it hasn’t been created yet. And while focus is typically on the bigger picture of getting the work done and the direction it’ll take, that doesn’t mean an eye for detail falls to the wayside. “Because I have the mindset of wanting to understand even the smallest piece, I’m able to look beyond the normal details others see and create something more thoughtful and impactful,” #thework So My role as creative director is to attend meetings with clients, heading up team brainstorming sessions and spearheading the initial concepts of a collection . They map out future plans and make sure the result and process match the client profile , I have developed to reach goals and objectives. The role really centers on team management and providing creative vision. “It’s important to realize that creative direction involves more than coming up with or innovative ideas,” You need to be a good leader, have fine-tuned analytical skills and be open to other people’s opinions and concepts.” This job title involves managing people. #entrepreneurlife

Building a team is like curating an art gallery. There's no one "right" way each piece needs to look. But one wrong addition can throw off the entire flow and experience. Create a list of the qualities you absolutely NEED and CANNOT TRAIN in a team member. Then train the learnable skills one needs to do the job right and to your desired specifications. For instance, when we're hiring for new team members at Cornell, we're looking for individuals who possess: ✅ Personal motivation ✅ Work ethic ✅ A sense of responsibility and integrity ✅ A passion for applying their skills ✅ An eagerness to learn I don't care if someone has 2 weeks of experience or 2 years. I don't care if someone has experience with all of our tools and technology platforms. I don't care if someone has never written a blog in our specific web-satisfying format. I can teach someone all those things. What I can't teach is an open heart, an open mind, and a sense of personal responsibility. Hire for strong qualities. Then build strong workers. Hiring a creative media team and then telling them what to do is a sure shot way to kill creativity. Your target audience does not necessarily share the same vision of your brand as you do . Imbibe the knowledge and knowledge the difference between brand vision and brand position.

The release of Barbie and Oppenheimer on the same weekend was a stroke of genius. The two films could not be more different in tone and subject matter, but their release together created a perfect yin and yang of movie advertising. The juxtaposition of these two films' marketing was a perfect way to highlight how marketing campaigns can play off each other. The Barbie campaign featured bright, colorful images of the film's vibe: fun, escapist, and empowering; while the Oppenheimer campaign featured more severe and somber images; challenging, thought-provoking, and disturbing. You can't talk about one of these films without bringing up the other – even though they are so different. They are two sides of the same coin, and their release together was a reminder of the power of association to explore the full range of the human experience with brands. tl;dr: The two films were *so* different that they were complementary and created an incredible marketing experience for consumers. #marketing #barbie #oppenheimer

Could we craft their story into an interesting narrative that positioned them as leaders? Our #brand evolution is centered around the promise that at Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, our highest purpose is to protect the outdoors and make them joyful for everyone from the first-time visitor to the casual explorer, the expert adventurer and for the generations yet to come. Our north star is the idea that the outdoors is for everyone -- it's the yardstick against which we measure every decision, the motto we repeat to ourselves as we show up to work -- it's our mantra. We coached and taught this idea to our teams across the state as we rolled out our new brand. It's a new era for state parks. Parks was recognized for creating/improving a safe and welcoming workplace. The nomination highlights our new brand strategy. We aren't perfect and have areas to continue growing, but the idea that we're turning the ship even slightly really puffs up my sails. ⚓ Your #branddevelopment matters! Invest in it. Teach it.
