Khaldye, a Syrian refugee in Lebanon, has become the sole provider for her family, turning her passion for cooking into a successful business. Forced to flee her home in 2013, Khaldye faced numerous challenges, from navigating life in a camp to supporting her family after her husband’s injury. Through Relief International's "Livelihoods and Resilience Support" program, Khaldye received life skills, vocational training, and career counseling. This program helped her gain the confidence and skills needed to transform her love for cooking into a sustainable source of income. Khaldye's journey, from gaining hands-on experience in food safety at a local hotel to starting her own food business, is inspiring.

Northern 🇲🇿#Mozambique is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, with over 70,000 people displaced since February 2024, bringing the total to nearly 1 million Insurgent attacks have created widespread suffering, and the impending withdrawal of SADC troops threatens to worsen the situation. The UN has petitioned for $413 million in emergency assistance, emphasizing the urgent need for international support.
