Today, the Biden Administration moved to further restrict asylum. President Biden issued new executive actions that would limit the number of people able to exercise their legal right to seek safety at the southern border and weaken refugee protection standards in violation of U.S. law. But restricting asylum does not create safety or order at the border. Rather, it increases misinformation and pushes people seeking safety toward more dangerous routes, further jeopardizing their lives. There are humane, orderly solutions that can help asylum seekers receive the support they need while alleviating pressure at the border. Visit our website to learn more: https://lnkd.in/e2XAsRu4

It's true we are humanitarian workers who would love everything to go exactly the same way the law states. But when things start to go opposite I think it would be good to seek for support from political leaders first, because there are things you can not force out at individual level. When the political leaders accept to take actions in favor of your opinions then that is a big achievement you should celebrate. Remember IRC is anon government organization and the only way it can perform it's activities better is through forming partnerships with governments which are usually called public private partnerships. These partnerships are usually non profit and they are usually made with the aim of empowering the community people, improving community infrastructures like road networking systems, health infrastructures and services and where necessary peace and security maybe another priority. However in governments where political leaders can not accept collaboration and partnerships with non government organizations, find out why? Before opting to take individual decisions which may lead to your down fall in one way or another. Thank you so much for the great share.

This picture is my community. It is so sad to see it in this way, with the barbed wire placed along our already destroyed ecosystem of the Rio Grande. I hope one day we can live in a world without this.

Sure it is a legal right however most of the people use their legal right for illegal means for future circumstances
