It seems that there is a new growing epidemic in our society... A lack of motivation. It seems that we are feeling more exhausted, more overwhelmed, less appreciated, and less connected with a sense of purpose. As a coach, this is topic certianly comes up often for many of my clients. So the question is, how do we change it? How do we begin to reframe our roles/duties/outlook to answer the questions "What is the purpose?" and "How do we increase our motivation to show up and do the work it takes everyday?" When your "Why" becomes "Who," your production and impact are positively impacted exponentially! I came across this brief, but powerful TedTalk about how to motivate a team. I know that I have many followers that run businesses and are in leadership roles, and thought that this might be helpful in motivating your teams, or even, yourself.
