Updates from the KCTCS Board of Regents meeting last week: A response plan to Senate Joint Resolution 179, aimed at advancing our state's community college system, was approved. The regents also addressed the rising cost of living and the importance of competitive compensation. As a result, all regular, full-time employees hired on or before March 31 will receive a 3% cost-of-living adjustment. 💼✨ This $8.8 million investment is part of the 2024-25 annual budget, ensuring we continue to attract and retain top talent. 📈👏 #KCTCS #EducationExcellence #CommunityColleges https://bit.ly/4beFK5b
