Congratulations, to the Employee of the Quarter Selections for Q4 2023! Employee of the Quarter- Quarter 4 2023: Norman Stanley- Twin City Health and Rehabilitation Norman Stanley has been with Twin City Healthcare for over 13 years as a CNA and is absolutely adored by staff, residents, family members and Co-workers. For several of those years at Twin City I have worked directly beside him on the floor, and I can say with absolute certainty he shows up and gives 100% of himself to the residents during each shift. You will not find a more caring, calm, or compassionate CNA, but to the residents Norman is their family. As we all know there are several residents in a long-term care facility that do not have family that visit, and Norman takes pride in making them feel at home and comfortable. Norman goes out of his way to ensure that no resident feels forgotten or lonely. In our opinion at Twin City Healthcare, you will not find a more deserving person to recognize. Runners Up: Amber Adams- Vermillion Convalescent Center Amber has been an employee here since 2012. She is full of love and enthusiasm for her job and the residents. An excellent therapist. In 2020 at the start of Covid she started a program, ADOPT A SENIOR due to the decrease in visitation for the residents and community involvement. She developed a program that adopted out every resident to the community that then some weekly, some monthly bring a deluge of gifts and items the resident might need or like all year long. I wish you could see the Christmas tree at the facility, the outpouring of love they had so many gifts and surprises for the holidays. These people went above and beyond. Amber never forgets a new resident, praising on her web site the families and community that care for our residents. She organizes the churches and schools to visit regularly. Three different schools choir groups visited this year. She is also our photographer, and she is phenomenal. Amanda Fodrea- Willowbend Living Center Amanda has been a CNA with Willowbend Living Center since 2028, and always works extra hours if needed. Amanda will come in on her day off to visit and spend time with the residents. Residents will ask for her by name for her to care for them. We appreciate Amandas dedication and commitment to our residents!

Congratulations, to the Employee of the Quarter Selections for Q3 2023!   Employee of the Quarter- Quarter 3 2023: Elizabeth Peterson- Azalea Hills Elizabeth has been a valuable employee at Azalea Hills for 13 years. She is currently a QMA who can do most things any nurse can do. She has also cooked in our dietary department for two years or until recently. The Administrator of the facility, Cassie Mccoun, can always depend on her. She is never late, always available to work anywhere, and help with many aspects of the building.      Runners Up: Tasha Stanley- Twin City Healthcare Tasha has worked as a nurse at Twin City for 6 years. She goes above and beyond her duty for our residents, ensuring her residents are happy and healthy. Her smile puts a smile on the residents’ faces. She is dependable and always has a great attitude. The residents, families and employees love her. She never complains. She is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!!       Denise Cayce- Crownpointe of Carmel Denise is valued by the residents at Crownpointe of Carmel because she goes above and beyond to make sure they go on and enjoy outings. What's important to the residents is also important to her. When we are unable to use our sister-facilities bus, Denise will take the company's sedan and deliver the residents to the outing location one by one. Denise will do whatever it takes to get the residents out of the facility for a little while to enjoy the fun activities that she has planned. Denise cooks dinner every night for the residents and will always help out with a smile on her face!

Employee of the Quarter- Quarter 2 2023: Alexis Skirvin- Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Centre Alexis has been with Persimmon Ridge since 2019 as a CNA. Our residents enjoy Alexis caring for them daily. She brings joy and smiles to the residents’ faces. Alexis is always willing to help others and is always here for her shifts. Alexis is an asset to the Persimmon Ridge team. Below are quotes directly from residents regarding the care that Alexis provides at Persimmon Ridge. "She's a beautiful girl inside and out. She is always very mindful of what I need and helps me in anyway." "She brightens up my day every time she walks in my room. She goes above and beyond when taking care of me. Alexis is so very caring, and I feel extra safe with her. I always miss her terribly when she is not here." "She is a wonderful worker. She is amazing at her job and always does anything you need." "Alexis is a good friend and a very hard worker who will do anything she can for you." Runners Up: Sarah Thompson- Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation Sarah has taken the initiative and helped to grow census at Alexandria while working in Admissions. She is from Alexandria and has many friends and connections within the community. Sarah is dedicated to making sure that Alexandria is a top-notch facility. She shows her dedication by doing whatever needs to be done when asked. Sarah moves residents, helps with activities, completes maintenance projects, does dishes in the kitchen, helps with social services, gives tours of the new cottages and all while marketing for Alexandria. Sarah is well known and loved by all the residents and is an asset to Alexandria Care Center. Brianna Reel- Windsor Ridge Brianna Reel is an LPN at Windsor Ridge. Windsor Ridge gives each resident a nomination form and they submit their nomination for input for the administrator to consider. Most of our residents report it is very hard to select just one employee, because we have wonderful staff. Nevertheless, one of our residents wrote the following about Brei, "This is a difficult task. We have such a caring and helpful staff, picking only one is almost impossible. Nevertheless, I'm going to pick Brei Reel. She has helped me on several issues very recently. She is so efficient and remembers important reminders and she is timely. Brei's my girl!" Brianna is someone that makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. She goes above and beyond to help all residents regardless of what issues they are having. She encourages all employees to perform at their best and jumps in when help is needed (usually cooking).  

We think our team is Spud-Tacular! 🥔 Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation treated staff to Dolled Up Spuds today as a huge thank you for their hard-work and dedication. From the nurses who tend to medical needs with expertise and tenderness, to the caregivers who shower our elderly with love and attention, and to the support staff who ensure a safe and welcoming environment - each one of you plays a vital role in making Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation a second home for our cherished residents.
