For young people growing up in underserved communities, opportunities to volunteer – and access the many benefits that volunteering can bring – are all too often limited or non-existent. What can decision makers do to level the playing field? Young people who took part in the Young Person’s Manifesto survey were clear with their ask: more clear routes into positive, constructive and accessible opportunities, and improved information about how they can get involved.
