Well done, Christina Schmitt! The HYDRA H2020 project is like the mythical beast: HYDRA takes a #multi_headed approach to develop the next-generation of high-energy and low-cost Li-ion #batteries. It stands for #HYbriD power-energy #electRodes for next generation lithium-ion bAtteries. The international battery research and innovation project is funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 program. The project brings together leading industry and research partners to develop the next generation of lithium-ion batteries and support the growing European battery industry. Through the development of sustainable and high-performance Li-ion cells, HYDRA will contribute to the future of electric mobility and help support the Green Transition. Aim: improving #sustainability, #materials, #manufacturing and #commercialization.
Last week I had the opportunity to present our work on post-mortem analysis and aging of LNMO-graphite pouch cells from the project HYDRA H2020 at the 244th Meeting of ECS - The Electrochemical Society in Gothenborg, Sweden.
