Lovely to host outdoor screenings in our gardens at Pinewood to celebrate the 60th anniversary of #Goldfinger. The gardens were a location in the film. The Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd DB5 completed the beautiful setting for our charity auction introduced by the Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire on behalf of Heart of Bucks

Celebrating 60 years of 'Goldfinger' which #ShotAtPinewood and had its world premiere in London’s Leicester Square #OnThisDay in 1964. Introducing cinemagoers to the Aston Martin DB5, which featured in the film’s famous car chase scene that took place on Pinewood’s Goldfinger Avenue. The third instalment in the 007 series included espionage and elegance as well as a steel-rimmed bowler hat and deadly lasers. Shot across numerous stages and on the Backlot, where Fort Knox was recreated.

Delighted to welcome Luke Thompson, Yerin Ha and the cast and crew of #Bridgerton Season 4 to begin filming on our newly constructed backlot at Shepperton Studios showcasing exquisite replicas of Georgian and Regency architecture including homes, buildings, Mayfair Street and more. The regal undertaking was designed by Bridgerton Production Designer, Alison Gartshore along with Supervising Art Director Antony Cartlidge and Art Director Adam David Grant. It's #RoaldDahlDay! 20 years ago #OnThisDay Tim Burton's film adaptation of the confectionary-based world of 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' was in production on the lot where the giant chocolate river was created on our 007 Stage #ShotAtPinewood. The film will celebrate it's 20th anniversary in 2025.

This September, the Studios celebrate 60 years of 'Goldfinger'. Sean Connery's third film as James Bond #ShotAtPinewood.

45 years ago #OnThisDay Ridley Scott’s 'Alien' burst into UK cinemas. #ShotAtShepperton the film defied expectations, delivering both an iconic heroine and unforgettable scares. The first starring film role for Sigourney Weaver (seen here with the flamethrower on the backlot of Shepperton Studios), Scott's masterpiece is widely recognised as one of the most influential films ever made.
