🚀 Empowering the Future of the Ruhr Area: Our Commitment to Education 🚀 At Volkswagen Infotainment, we're deeply rooted in the Ruhr area, a region transforming into a hub for future technologies. As part of our commitment to this transformation, we’re proud to sponsor six students from our partner universities – Hochschule Bochum - Bochum University of Applied Sciences, Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), and Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola (THGA) – through the Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) this year. 🎓 The Deutschlandstipendium is vital because it supports talented students who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also exceptional commitment to their communities. By investing in these students, we’re nurturing future leaders who will drive innovation and progress in the Ruhr area. Stephanie Leonhardt from THGA points out: “Volkswagen Infotainment is a long-standing supporter of the Deutschlandstipendium – a partnership we deeply value. Many of our scholarship holders have benefited from this support and the personal connections with Volkswagen Infotainment. Both THGA and our students highly appreciate this collaboration, as well as the additional offerings like application training and factory tours that Volkswagen Infotainment repeatedly provides to our students.” As a company, we believe in "Starke Schultern" – strong shoulders that support and lift each other up. By fostering local talent, we’re building the foundation for a brighter, more innovative future for the Ruhr area. 🌟 #VolkswagenInfotainment #Deutschlandstipendium #RuhrArea #StarkeSchultern #FutureLeaders #Innovation

Excited to have returned to the University of Mannheim for the International Alumni Night last week, where I had the opportunity to reflect on my journey in Germany over the past few years. Being on the verge of transitioning to Hannover, I'm reminded of the special significance of this invitation, marking the close of a significant chapter in both my professional and personal life in Baden-Württemberg. If I could summarize my learning in the last 3.5 years in Germany, these are them: (1) There is (always) something better: if something is good, it doesn't mean there isn't something better or even great. (2) Keep pushing: while you're not a role model of results, be a role model of endurance. (3) Dare to stand alone: we cannot borrow knowledge and somebody else's skills. We all have goals and want to strive for them. We think and plan about it. But at some juncture, we must work on them and put our thoughts into action. Nobody can do it for you. It is a lonely process.

Get Started with a PreMaster @ Bosch If you're looking for a way to gain practical experience after your Bachelor's degree and start your Master's degree at the same time, you should consider the PreMaster Program at Bosch. The combination of a practical phase in the company followed by the study phase at the university was perfect for me to gain practical experience while deepening my academic knowledge: - 🛠️ ON-THE-JOB Experience: I gained valuable professional experience directly in my focus area, which I planned to deepen during my Master’s studies. I am pleased to share that Scania, with its inverted hierarchical structure, or what can be termed a "reverse power pyramid," has successfully instilled a sense of empowerment and motivation among its employees. This system has empowered employees to feel a sense of control, thereby boosting their drive for performance improvement and increased productivity. Alongside this enhanced efficiency, the company has maintained stringent safety standards, optimal working conditions, and standardized production processes, ensuring no harm befalls its workforce. Within the production process, each employee is entrusted with specific responsibilities within a five-person team, emphasizing the necessity of diverse experiences and skillsets for organizational advancement. Despite continuous efforts through regular inspections, challenges such as the resemblance of the production system to the chaotic portrayal in Charlie Chaplin's modern times, and discrepancies in the appearance of employees still persist. On the other hand, by prioritizing the humanization of the production process, the company endeavours to promote human values and improve communication among team members. However, it is imperative to acknowledge the significance of job diversity and the avoidance of monotony in production activities. This experience has been invaluable, and I extend my gratitude to all members of the Scania team and the professors at Saxion University of Applied Sciences for enabling this journey.
Today we visited Scania Group in Zwolle with our #Saxion/ University of Greenwich MBA-MA students.

Innovative and accomplished leader with extensive experience in managing daily facets and operations of project/company.
Success starts much earlier as with the last powerpoint presentation
Yesterday marked a significant moment as we hosted a training and sharing experience for the teaching staff and tutors of 𝗙𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗼. This visit to our plant in 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 was part of the 𝗘𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘀+ 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, aimed at fostering collaboration between the educational and industrial sectors in the mechanical and mechatronic fields. Our guests had the opportunity to explore our facilities, understand our operations, and see first-hand how their Erasmus students could contribute and thrive in a real-world environment. At GDS, we believe that engaging with educational institutions and promoting the growth of students in technical and scientific fields is a strategic investment into the future. By supporting young talents, we are nurturing the next generation of professionals who are ready to face industry challenges with innovation and dedication. A big thank you to the team from Fondazione ITS Meccatronico Veneto for making this visit a success, we look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration!
