Calling all folks with seized valves 🚨
Last week, CONSUB were called to a platform in the North Sea to operate a 10-inch #900 electric actuated ball valve that the client’s mechs offshore could not budge.
The valve had to operable by mid-February to allow a pipeline pigging operation.
Within 7 days from the first telephone call, our team had mobilised offshore with CONSUB’s unique Valve Release Tooling (C-VRS). The valve was released and cycled and ultimately brought back into full operation with the original actuator reinstalled.
No fuss, no shutdown, no replacement valve needed and our client’s planned pipeline pigging operation could proceed without delay.
