Did my 10k to celebrate the global running day today 🏃

We did complete our run and here to Global Running. #GlobalRunningDay The Global Running event takes place in June and runs from the 5th to the 9th. Participants can choose a time and day that suits them and are required to record their run using a watch or app. Company records must include this information, and there is also a prize for the top three runners in each category. Although I used to be an avid runner, my focus has shifted towards Pickleball. Here are three key takeaways from my 5K Global Running: 1. Warm-up is crucial, regardless of whether you are a regular runner or not. I found that a 10-minute warm-up was very beneficial. 2. I chose a track that required me to complete 5 laps to reach a 5K distance. 3. Cooling down for 15 minutes after the run is important to help release lactic acid and prepare for recovery. It’s important to emphasize the significance of cooling down after the run.

Staying active is also symbolic for how we approach our day to day activities, because every step is a win. Rightly said!
