Social Impact + Tech • Sharing tips and guiding smart impact decisions • Founder • 2x LinkedIn Top Voice • Speaker • 25 Under 25
POV: You received the 25 Under 25 Global Legacy Award from Common Purpose in 2023 and you want other young change-makers to give it their best shot. Here are 5 tips to make the best of the application. 1️⃣ Read and understand the criteria. The website has a section titled: What the judges are looking for. So sit with it and make sure your answers tick those boxes. 2️⃣ Don’t overthink it. Yes, the deadline is tomorrow but you have more than 24 hours to put together a strong application. If it’s tugging on your heartstrings, do it. 3️⃣ Show and Tell! You want to show the impact of the work you do. Use your data and metrics. Quantify them. Use examples and stories. Upload supporting evidence. 4️⃣ Provide good references! It has to be someone who knows your social impact work and its impact well. If your professor in school can’t speak to your impact work, they’re probably not the best choice for a referee. Even if they won a Noble Prize for medicine. 5️⃣ Think about the legacy program (from Common Purpose) you participated in and how you’ve grown since then. How have you been able to apply the lessons you learned during the program to your social impact so far? These are a few tips. Wishing you all the best! Eligibility requirements + Apply here: https://lnkd.in/d5nw3SBx The deadline is January 28, 2024. You still have enough time to apply. #TitilopeAdedokun #SocialImpact #Changemaker #25Under25 #Tips #TipsByTitilope
