Folks, do you know where Paris, Berlin and Varna are within a stones throw of each other? In Russia, in the Ural mountains, near the city of Magnitogorsk. The local Cossacks called their settlements names like Paris and Berlin in memory of military campaigns.
Magnitogorsk is next to the amazing Magnetic Mountain. They say that once Batu Khans archers couldnt shoot their arrows because the arrows iron tips were attracted by the Magnetic Mountain.
Now the largest iron and steel works in the country is located here. During World War II half the Soviet tanks were made from local metal.
If you look at this giant factory from the Ural river, it looks like an enormous cruise ship!
By the way, the Ural River is the traditional boundary between Europe and Asia.
So, many inhabitants of Magnitogorsk live in Europe but work in Asia. Great, isnt it! Continents are different, but there is one country!
