Janulevičius re-elected president of Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists

BNS 2024.05.23 15:31

Vidmantas Janulevičius has been re-elected president of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) for a second four-year term.

In Thursday’s election, Janulevičius defeated Robertas Dargis, co-owner and chairman of the board at the construction and real estate development group Eika, who headed the LPK between 2012 and 2020.

Janulevicius is the chairman of the board at BOD Group, a high-tech group he founded.

The LPL, the country’s most influential business organisation, brings together 55 branch associations, seven regional associations, and 24 non-associated members, encompassing all major industrial sectors and key products manufactured in Lithuania.

The confederation says the sectors it represents account for 59 percent of Lithuania’s GDP.
