COLUMBUS, Ohio — A federal court has struck down restrictions in Ohio’s House Bill 458 that made it a crime for all but a handful of family members to assist voters with disabilities in casting absentee ballots. 

While a major party’s presumptive nominee withdrawing his presidential candidacy is an extraordinary occurrence, rules and procedures are in place to respond to this development.

Watson overturned its earlier decision that declared Mississippi’s lifetime felony voting ban was unconstitutional.
