Miley Cyrus forked out £4,000 on a helicopter ride to see the Blackpool illuminations - only to find out they were turned off a week ago.
Instead Miley - who was in town for the Royal Variety Show - her mum and sister Noah had to settle for a bag of chips and a stroll along the Golden Mile.
Our spy says: "For some reason Blackpool turn the lights off for Christmas. "Thankfully, meeting Lady GaGa cheered Miley up. She wasn't as bothered about meeting the Queen."
