Amazon is helping shoppers save money on their favourite items by kicking off its much-anticipated Prime Day sale. Customers won't need to do much scrolling to find an amazing bargain, with two days of deals from Tuesday, July 16 to Wednesday, July 17. The savings include a wide range of products from the online giant's beauty, fashion, tech and home categories.
Beauty fans are in for a real treat as items from big-name brands like ghd, L’Oreal and Elizabeth Arden have their prices slashed, but it's best not to hang about. The Mirror's beauty writers and editors have scoured for similar offers from other retailers and it just so happens that Amazon has a number of deals cheaper than Boots and Superdrug.
However, it's important to note that Amazon's latest sale bonanza is only available to Prime members, so if you are not one already, then be sure to sign up. Customers who are signed up to Prime will get to enjoy wonderfully affordable price tags on all kinds of beauty must-haves.

On the Amazon website, shoppers can find limited-time deals that see some products slashed by as much as 70%. In the navigation bar, there is a section called ‘Today’s Deals’ which draws up a number of categories, but look down the left hand side and you can filter by ‘beauty’ products, shopping hair care, skincare, fragrance, cosmetics and electrical beauty for a lot less than the original price.
The L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renew Midnight Serum - which has rave reviews - usually retails for £35, however on Amazon, it is currently down to £11, while Boots' price is £31.50 and Superdrug sells the same item for £21.30.
The popular skincare buy is reportedly a cheaper alternative of Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum, which is usually £65. Already it’s a huge saving by switching to a cheaper alternative, but Amazon currently has the price reduced by 66%, making the savings even greater.
Another skincare saviour shoppers can snap up for less is the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence that's now £10.40 on Amazon. The same product costs £22.49 at Boots, and is £20.99 on the LookFantastic website.
Meanwhile, the cult-favourite Bio Oil that's loved by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Meghan Markle has been reduced to £12.14 from £24. At Boots the multi-use product costs £16.19, making Amazon's price £4 cheaper. Those who use subscribe and save only pay £10.93, saving them 15% extra, plus a further saving of up to 15% when they schedule a repeat delivery.
