It’s time for the kiddos to head back to school. That means it’s time for the kids and parents to start waking up early again after a summer break, but what about the teachers?

I like to send a little something special to my children’s teachers on the first day, welcoming them back and letting them know that they are appreciated too! It’s super simple and inexpensive to put a basket of goodies together, and I guarantee it will make their day! This year, we are sending the teachers the gift of caffeine, but stepping it up a bit. All you need is a basket, some coffee, a cute coffee mug and some creamer…I love my International Delight Fat Free Caramel Macchiato flavored creamer, so that’s what I am adding to their baskets…I think it’s the cutest back to school teacher gift idea ever!

I added a few extra goodies for one of our favorite teachers…I know she loves to cook, so I added in a cheese board and a pretty dishcloth to finish the basket off. You could totally go smaller by nestling the creamer in a coffee mug and tying a ribbon around it!

I think it’s just a nice way to start the year off for your teachers by sending in a small token of appreciation. They’ll be more likely to remember your children in a positive way, and let’s be honest…we could all use that ;)
