Filing a Code of Conduct Complaint

The National Academy of Engineering Council approved a Code of Conduct for NAE members and Policies and Procedures: Violations of the NAE Code of Conduct, to consider allegations that a member has violated the Code of Conduct. A complaint alleging a violation of the Code must be submitted be in writing, signed, marked “Privileged”, and directed to the NAE Executive Officer using this form. The complaint may be filed by an NAE member, a non-member, or an entity, such as a company or organization.

The NAE does not have the capacity to undertake investigations of alleged violations and will not accept complaints or allegations that are not supported. Complaints should identify the section(s) of the Code alleged to have been violated and include a complete description of the allegations and, publicly available documentation supporting the alleged violation.
