Nationwide Building Society is today (30 August 2024) launching new issues of its fixed rate savings accounts and Triple Access accounts.

On Wednesday 21 August, The Mortgage Works (TMW) is reducing selected buy-to-let rates for new customers by up to 0.10 percentage points, with rates starting from 3.49%. 

Nationwide is increasing its support for the new build sector by increasing the maximum loan-to-value (LTV) available for those looking to purchase a new build house from 85 per cent to 90 per cent – providing further support for the housebuilding sector and the government’s housing ambitions.

Nationwide will be reducing rates by up to 0.20 percentage points across its two, three and five-year fixed rate products with the new rates effective from tomorrow, Wednesday 14 August. Nationwide’s lowest mortgage rate now stands at 3.83%, which is available to any new and existing customers who are looking to move home.
