Russia loses 1,060 soldiers and 54 artillery systems in one day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the information on the Russian losses in the war against Ukraine. Over the past day, the Russians have lost more that 1,000 soldiers, 14 tanks and 35 armoured combat vehicles.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 21 June 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 531,980 (+1,060) military personnel;
• 8,001 (+14) tanks;
• 15,372 (+35) armoured combat vehicles;
• 14,106 (+54) artillery systems;
• 1,106 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 861 (+2) air defence systems;
• 359 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 326 (+0) helicopters;
• 11,260 (+0) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,298 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 19,181 (+47) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,367 (+10) special vehicles and other equipment.
