Abstract
Objective: Meningococcal meningitis (MM) is an acute, severe respiratory infectious disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis and remains an important cause of morbidity/mortality in children. Immunization with meningococcal vaccine (MV) is the most effective measure to control and prevent the transmission of MM.
