‘Wild Target’ a crime comedy

Movie: "Wild Target"

When: Opening Friday at local theaters

Cast: Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Grint, Rupert Everett

Director: Jonathan Lynn

The story: In this crime comedy, a veteran hit man finds himself drawn to an intended victim -- and shadowed by an unlikely apprentice.

The buzz: The 1993 French comedy "Cible Emouvante" inspired this British remake, director Jonathan Lynn's first feature since 2003's "The Fighting Temptations." But you're probably more familiar with Lynn's previous hits, 2000's "The Whole Nine Yards" and 1992's "My Cousin Vinny."
