James Poniewozik TIME Magazine TV may be an excessive medium, but the brilliant, groundbreaking Lost may just show it that quality can beat quantity. Jul 7, 2023 Full Review Frazier Moore Associated Press Four seasons in, the show demands even more of the viewer than it used to. But those who have stuck around know that rewards richly outweighs the frustration. Jul 7, 2023 Full Review Mary McNamara Los Angeles Times Lost is a show that has long required surrender, to the creative process if nothing else -- I often found myself rooting for the writers as much as for the characters. Oct 24, 2019 Full Review Ed Travis Hollywood Jesus Lost capitalizes on the fascinating nature of complex people in extreme situations, and we're all blessed by the thrilling process. Apr 10, 2020 Full Review Ellen Gray Philadelphia Daily News I still don't know where it's headed, but it feels, finally, as if we could be getting somewhere. Oct 24, 2019 Full Review Daynah Burnett PopMatters Under the least desirable of circumstances, Lost has managed to pull off one of its very best seasons to date. Benjamin H With inventive flash-forwards, deft pacing and a bountiful of new details and plot revelations, Lost Season 4 is yet another amazing and captivating season of this unique and intriguing show that manages to upkeep the suspense and boldness of previous seasons while also developing all of its characters (amazing performances all-around also) splendidly. The only negative here is that there are some things here and there that is a bit too stacked. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Peacemaker Brilliant! Very captivating and thoroughly engaging series! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review A Bear O I absolutely love season 4, it's fun, and not too long which makes it better than the last 3 seasons already, I like the new characters, especially Lapidus and Faraday. It's the easiest season to get through, it's not nearly as long and has a exciting story line, the only thing that threw me off was thee guy who looked like Elon Musk, I can't stop seeing Musk in him, the character it self is written pretty well though. Ben has a great storyline, aswell as a lot of character development. They handled Alex's death very well, her mother's not so much however, that still bothers me quite a bit. This season makes season 3 better because this season just works so well, it also sets up my favorite season really well, the plottwist of the island disappearing still shocks me, even though it's quite ridiculous. Every season of lost gets crazier and crazier, but it's not stupid writing, it works, it's just pretty silly when you think too much about it. Overall I would say this is about as good as season 1, maybe a little better because of the amount of episodes! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/07/23 Full Review Entertainment Eater 1 Lost season 4 dried up my tear glands and melted my mind. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/22 Full Review renee d Couldn't hold my interest like the first three seasons. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as good as the other seasons. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
