Nandini Balial RogerEbert.com This is a show that spans the highs and lows of the human experience, simultaneously specific and universal, prompting tears, cheers, laughs, and jeers. And isn’t that what great TV is all about? Jun 11, 2024 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) This punky British comedy about an all-female, all-Muslim rock band is in stride at the start of this second season and rarely deviates. Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe This show brings me joy, as it brings these women to life with such glee. It has a positivity to it that never compromises the complex questions it raises about faith, friendship, fame, and the power of music. Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Lily Moayeri Under the Radar The second season continues We Are Lady Parts’ deft and nuanced storytelling but doesn’t rehash past issues. As these women grow and evolve, their challenges change, and along with that, their responsibilities and their priorities. Rated: 8.5/10 Jun 21, 2024 Full Review Leila Latif Primetimer We Are Lady Parts' Second Act Is Even Better Than Its First Jun 4, 2024 Full Review Stephen A. Russell ScreenHub With six snappy, half-hour episodes, Manzoor once again proves that getting to the point quicker doesn’t make a show any less spiky, for all We Are Lady Parts’ zany moments of fourth-wall-breaking fun. Just like punk rock, it’s a sonic blast. Jun 4, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

keren S Brilliant BRILLIANT show, season 2 does not disappoint. I love the character arcs. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Kiki Y Just finished watching both Season 1 and Season 2… MORE PLEASE! I enjoyed this series so much that I’m already sad about having to wait for another season. Attention Powers-That-Be: PLEASE green light Season 3!!! I started watching b/c I recognized Anjana Vasan from Killing Eve and wanted to see what she was up to. She’s playing another quirky, awkward character that we want to understand and eventually come to love. She’s an amazing actress… so unusual and unique… she doesn’t fit into the cookie cutter actress mold we’re so used to seeing and that’s why I like her so much. She along with her wonderful co-stars are all challenging stereotypes and forging their own paths all while giving some of us a peak into a culture we don’t know much about. Kudos to the cast of We are Lady Parts. I can’t wait to see what you do next. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Audience Member One of the best comedy shows I’ve seen in a long time. Heartfelt, unapologetically British, and VERY punk. More please! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Dani a This is a perfect season too. It couldn't be better! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review Haneef K Amazing return 👌🏼 back and better than ever. Great from beginning to end, and the new song in episode 1 is incredible. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/02/24 Full Review Michael G The main actors are still appealing, but the directing and writing of the second season just isn't very good. It's filled with cliched plots, nonsensical gimmicks (like characters clicking a remote control to freeze a person or the entire world), and it relies heavily on inserting old and new songs as narrative filler.
