Among the many tributes to the late Hall of Famer Yogi Berra on Wednesday will be the Empire State Building in New York, which will shine in blue pinstripes in honor of Berra, who passed away on Tuesday night at age 90.

The Yankees, for whom Berra played his first 18 seasons and won 10 World Series championships as a player, are on the road Wednesday in Toronto, where a video tribute was played, followed by a moment of silence.

The Mets, for whom Berra also played and managed, are home, also held a moment of silence in his honor before Wednesday's game.

The Royals are one of several other teams with plans to honor Berra on Wednesday. The Astros, for whom Berra coached from 1986-89, held a moment of silence before their Wednesday afternoon game.
