1. 1997 Pinnacle Inside WNBA #48 Eva Nemcova
Fran Harris, wearing #20, played in 25 games for Houston in 1997 and in 18 games for the Utah Starzz in 1998. A guard out of the University of Texas, Harris averaged 4.1 points per game in her career. She joined the Dallas Wings broadcast team in 2024. |
2. 1998 Pinnacle WNBA #70 Heidi VanDerveer
Yvette Angel, pictured on the reverse of the card, was an assistant coach with Sacramento in 1998. She appeared in five games with the Monarchs in 1997, starting three. She also played professionally in Spain and has been inducted into the Ohio State and Buffalo, NY halls of fame. |
3. 1998 Upper Deck/Pinnacle Kellogg's #42 Cynthia Cooper
Katasha Artis, wearing #14, appeared in 20 games with the Charlotte Sting in 1997, scoring 16 points in total. A Brooklyn native, she played collegiately at Northeastern, where she was a two-time conference player of the year. She played professionally in Germany and Turkey as well. |
4. 1999 Ultra WNBA #30 Elisabeth Cebrian
Sandra Van Embricqs was a 30-year-old rookie with the Los Angeles Sparks in 1998 and to this day is the only WNBA player to be born in Suriname. She appeared in 28 games, logging just under 17 minutes of playing time per game and averaging 3.4 points. She is currently a French teacher and basketball coach. |

I've clarified the description - WNBA players who had no cards. I just discovered that Carla Boyd had several cards under her maiden name of Carla Porter, so she's off the list.
