Controller for brushless motors up to 700W.

Maxon Precision Motors, Inc. has introduced its DEC 70/10, a compact, digital, velocity/torque controller that is designed for controlling brushless motors up to 700W, equipped with hall sensors. Maximum speed is 80,000 rpm for two-pole motors. Requiring a supply voltage of 10V DC to 70V DC, the controller can provide 90 percent of the supply voltage to the motor at 10A continuous current or 20A peak current. Velocity or torque can be controlled via a [+ or -]10V signal. Applications include positioning systems, autonomous vehicles, pumps, packaging systems, robotics, conveyor belts and manufacturing.
