ASHWORTH Ann Christine Peacefully on 19th May 2024. Ann Ashworth aged 83 years of Skelmanthorpe, the dearly loved wife of the late John, the much loved mum of Joanne and Gillian, a loved and loving grandma of Jess, Charlie, Freya and Connor and dear sister of Susan and Elizabeth. Will friends please meet for a Service to Celebrate Ann's life at St. Aidan's Parish Church, Skelmanthorpe at 11.30am on Friday 21st June. No flowers by request, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired would be appreciated for Castle Grange Care Home Residents Social Fund, for which a donation plate will be provided at the service. GARTON Brian Frederick Suddenly, at home, on 24th May, aged 76 years.

Dearly beloved son of the late Rose and Fred, treasured twin brother of the late Albert and a much loved cousin and friend.

The funeral service will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium on Friday 28th June at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be gratefully received for The British Heart Foundation. A box will be available as you exit the chapel.

JAMESON Dr Ron (Long serving GP of Golcar) Ron Jameson, aged 96 died peacefully at home on 26th May.

Born in Banbury, he trained in medicine at Kings College Hospital London and became a highly respected and loved GP in Golcar, where he lived with his wife, Jess, and daughters Pippa and Susie from 1955 until he retired in 1988.

After retirement he continued his long standing service as a magistrate, and his service as an active member of Gideons International and of Lindley Evangelical Church. His Christian faith underpinned all his activities. A service of thanksgiving for his long life and for the helpful contributions he made to the lives of many others will be held at Bradley St Thomas Church, St Thomas Gardens, Bradley on Friday 28th June at 12.30.

Will friends please accept this as the only intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Bradley St Thomas Church to assist their work in the community and in providing Bible teaching material for small groups. A plate for donations will be provided at the service or c/o The Taylor Funeral Service.

ROWE Leslie Peacefully on 13th June 2024, Les aged 71 years of Dalton.

Loving Dad of Lisa, dearly loved Son of the late Dennis and Ann also a much loved and sadly missed Brother of Denise, Dennis and the late Barry, dear Uncle of Richard and a good friend to many. Funeral service and committal will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd July at 1.15pm.
