Heat transfer.
Company's Nara Paddle Processor is designed as an indirect heat transfer device used for heating, drying and cooling. Applications in the food processing industry include: drying of flours and starches, pasteurization of powders and granules, cooking of ground meat, cooling (crystallization, tempering) of fat-containing products and the cooling hydrophilic materials. Typically used in continuous processes, the paddle processor is heated with steam or liquid to 750[degrees]F or cooled with water/glycol to 40[degrees]F. The unit's dual counter rotating agitators provide for uniform heating/cooling and optimize the heat transfer rate.
