Letter: Richard is a real star.
Byline: Brynmor WarnerI HAVE taken my wife, who is recovering from a serious illness, for rides in the car around the mountains of Ogmore, the Rhondda and Neath Valley - she prefers the views of valley areas to the seaside.
Over the past months we have noticed a house being renovated from a dilapidated ruin into a fine building.
Last week we stopped at the driveway to this house and were viewing the latest changes, when out came the owner who was Richard Webster, the former Welsh back row forward and he very kindly offered to show us around his house.
We were given a guided tour and the work done on the building was excellent - he has done much of the grafting himself.
It really made my wife's day and I would like to thank Richard for being so kind to a couple he had never met before and wish him and his family many years of happiness in their new home.
Brynmor Warner Heol Y Onnen, Trecastle Llanharry, Pontyclun
